This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Aircall. We are currently looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer in Madrid.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced fullstack engineer to contribute to the development of customer communication platforms powered by real-time voice, digital channels, and AI. You’ll join a fast-paced, collaborative engineering environment and take part in building scalable and secure services used by thousands of businesses worldwide. With access to modern cloud technologies and cross-functional teams, you’ll help shape the architecture and delivery of impactful features while mentoring fellow engineers and championing best practices.

Accountabilities :

Participate in analyzing product requirements and propose technical solutions aligned with business needs.
Design, develop, deploy, and operate core backend and frontend features for voice and AI-powered communication tools.
Write clean, scalable code using languages such as TypeScript / Node.js and frameworks like React.
Refactor, debug, and optimize code for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Lead by example in applying engineering best practices and ensuring secure coding standards.
Collaborate cross-functionally with other engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
Monitor platform performance and participate in on-call rotations to maintain system health.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in backend development using typed languages like TypeScript, Node.js, Java, or Scala.

2+ years of hands-on experience building frontend applications with React or Angular.

Strong knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, or serverless architecture.

Proven experience designing and deploying production systems on AWS.

Deep familiarity with AWS services and ability to advise others on architecture choices.

Security-first mindset and a strong sense of ownership in code quality and system integrity.

Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for mentoring and sharing knowledge within the team.
