Summary

We are looking for an experienced and versatile Senior Marketing Manager who will be responsible for driving marketing programs and commercial execution for the Southern Cluster Europe (Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Greece) region, as well as ensuring the implementation of new digital channels.

The role will operate within the Southern Cluster structure alongside other stakeholders such as Medical / Clinical, Finance, Training & Education, Communication Excellence, Supply Chain, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Market Access, Digital Marketing, GPR, etc., as well as the Renal EMEA team. The goal is to ensure the regional team has clear direction and effective traditional and digital tools to approach healthcare professionals and payers in this virtual setting. Regional Marketing partners with countries to enable commercial execution excellence to accelerate profitable sales.

Travel is expected up to 30% of the time.

What You Will Do

  • Act as the primary Southern cluster contact point for marketing Europe.
  • Establish and lead regional strategy and business focus areas, ensure country alignment to regional strategy / priorities (e.g., launches, business / product positioning and messaging), and course correct if needed.
  • Own launch execution readiness, effectiveness, and compliance. Identify root causes behind gaps in new launch performance and drive improvements.
  • Analyze cluster and country business performance and recommend enhancements or corrective actions.
  • Lead cluster-wide activities such as campaigns, congresses, peer-to-peer events, and market development, and replicate successful initiatives across markets to drive profitable growth.
  • Articulate cluster needs, voice of customer (internal / external), and market intelligence to GBU and relevant stakeholders.
  • Liaise effectively with Kidney EMEA team and across functions like Commercial Excellence, Finance, Regulatory, Advocacy, Market Access, Medical, Supply Chain, and Training.
  • Gather cluster inputs for Target Product Profiles (TPP) and coordinate financial business case processes.
  • Provide data and insights, and make recommendations for on-market product introductions and portfolio optimization to support growth and profitability.
  • Support quality growth of key revenue generators in WEU, focusing on remote selling, product penetration, routine use, and new product launches with digital formats leveraging differentiation. Ensure excellent launch execution.
  • Conceptualize and execute multi-channel campaigns across the customer lifecycle, ensuring consistent messaging across channels.
  • Gather customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase conversions, and generate qualified leads.
  • Guide countries in developing annual commercial BaxP plans aligned with regional segmentation.
  • Build relationships with key opinion leaders and gain insights for segmentation, targeting, and positioning.
  • Provide product, technical, and competitive knowledge to enhance the effectiveness of country marketing teams, sales, and distributors.
  • Ensure adherence to pricing strategies for assigned product lines.

What You’ll Bring

  • Extensive marketing and commercial experience in the Medical Device / Pharma industry; familiarity with Nephrology is a clear advantage.
  • University degree : Master’s, PhD, MBA is a plus. Proven success in driving new product sales.
  • Background in strategic planning and business development is helpful.
  • Training and experience in Digital Marketing with a record of performance.
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen : strategic thinking combined with execution skills.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, negotiation, collaboration, critical thinking, and project management skills, especially cross-culturally.
  • Proven ability to operate successfully in a matrix, cross-functional, and geographically dispersed team environment.
  • Ability to adapt to change, manage ambiguity, and embrace new disciplines such as Market Research, Segmentation, Digital & Interactive Marketing, Brand Management, Pricing, Decision Analytics, and Strategic Planning.
