Mission

As an Avionics System Engineer, your main responsibility will be to oversee the design and development of safety-critical avionics systems, including support for manufacturing, assembly, and integration into launch vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the Flight Safety System technology roadmap and timeline.
  • Design the Flight Safety System architecture following relevant standards.
  • Conduct system analyses to verify requirements such as reliability and safety.
  • Manage all interfaces related to the Flight Safety System.
  • Select components, define requirements, and oversee procurement.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to meet technical and programmatic goals.
  • Develop requirements and test plans for system components.
  • Integrate components into launch vehicles and conduct tests.
  • Document and communicate safety system details to authorities.

Necessary Requirements

  • BSc / MSc in Electrical, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.
  • Experience in electrical system integration and testing.
  • Knowledge of system analysis such as FMECA and reliability.
  • Experience in formal documentation.
  • Familiarity with test equipment (oscilloscopes, analyzers, etc.).
  • Hardware troubleshooting and software debugging skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Proactive, accountable, and communicative attitude.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
  • Desired Requirements

  • Experience with aerospace safety standards and launch operations.
  • Knowledge of environmental testing and safety-critical avionics.
  • Experience with RF systems, sensors, valves, or pyro devices.
