This position is for Hotelbeds, a technology company in the travel sector with a highly transactional platform handling 7 billion requests per day with sub-second response times. The platform is 100% cloud-based, operating in a multi-regional setup on AWS, ensuring scalability, resilience, and global reach. The role is part of the IT Development team, currently composed of nearly 300 multidisciplinary professionals with deep expertise in both backend and frontend technologies.
We are looking for a highly experienced Engineer Lead with a strong background in full stack development, microservices architecture, and scalable enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in both backend and frontend technologies, along with a proven track record of delivering mission-critical applications in agile environments.
Experience in writing decoupled, testable code and working with automated test suites is expected.
Familiarity with code quality metrics—such as technical debt analysis and code coverage—is highly desirable. This role offers significant visibility across the organization and with stakeholders, and provides excellent opportunities for professional growth and impact.
