What your new job can look like

At Moodle, no two days are ever the same! As a Senior Financial Analyst, based in Barcelona, you’ll collaborate closely with the Head of FP&A and other key teams to analyze and report financial and business performance. Your insights and recommendations will drive strategic decisions and business outcomes. Key responsibilities include :

• Budgeting & Forecasting : Lead the preparation of the company’s annual and semi-annual budgets, providing detailed forecasts and conducting variance analysis to ensure alignment with our strategic objectives.
• Financial Reporting & Analysis : Own the preparation and presentation of monthly financial reports, ensuring clarity and actionable insights for managers and senior leadership. Identify key business drivers, forecast trends, and communicate performance against budget.
• Strategic Decision Support : Provide financial guidance to various departments, delivering in-depth analysis and recommendations to support decision-making across the organization.
• Business Partnering : Collaborate with teams across Finance, Commercial and Product, to ensure financial alignment and provide recommendations that drive business outcomes.
• Ad-Hoc Analysis & Reporting : Prepare high-level, executive-ready reports and ad-hoc analysis on a wide variety of topics, including financial performance, cost optimization, and profitability improvement initiatives.
• Process Improvement : Lead efforts to streamline financial reporting and analysis processes, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and accuracy across the organization.
