The ideal candidate will have a strong background in law, with a proven track record of leading legal teams in a senior role. They will be responsible for providing strategic legal counsel to our leadership team and ensuring that our business operations comply with all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Providing accurate and timely legal advice to the leadership team
• Leading and organizing work of external lawyers
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Overseeing the development and implementation of compliance programs and policies
• Identifying and mitigating legal risks
• Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts and agreements
• Establishing and maintaining efficient contract management processes and systems
• Managing and overseeing litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution matters
• Working with external legal counsels to ensure cost-effective and high-quality legal representation
• Advising on corporate governance matters
• Ensuring proper legal documentation and policies are in place
• Staying current with changes in laws and regulations that may affect the company's operations
• Advocating for the company's interests in legislative and regulatory matters
