Leading Legal Expert Required
We are a fast-growing company that believes in the power of innovation and teamwork. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced legal professional to join our team as Vice President Legal.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in law, with a proven track record of leading legal teams in a senior role. They will be responsible for providing strategic legal counsel to our leadership team and ensuring that our business operations comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Providing accurate and timely legal advice to the leadership team
- Leading and organizing work of external lawyers
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Overseeing the development and implementation of compliance programs and policies
- Identifying and mitigating legal risks
- Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts and agreements
- Establishing and maintaining efficient contract management processes and systems
- Managing and overseeing litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution matters
- Working with external legal counsels to ensure cost-effective and high-quality legal representation
- Advising on corporate governance matters
- Ensuring proper legal documentation and policies are in place
- Staying current with changes in laws and regulations that may affect the company's operations
- Advocating for the company's interests in legislative and regulatory matters
Requirements :
