Reports to : Engineering Director

Experience :

• 5-10 years of experience in designing, calculating, and managing comprehensive air conditioning and classified room projects in biological research, formulation, and pharmaceutical production.
• Expertise in regulatory and legal aspects related to clean room design and construction, including architecture, HVAC, laminar flows, and air treatment.
• Experience in aseptic production environments in the pharmaceutical industry, especially with isolator technology in final filling processes.
• Experience with process and production capacity considerations, regulations, user requirements, installation details, room layouts, and flow plans for materials, personnel, and classified areas.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Minimum B2.2 English certification.

Functions :

The Plant Engineer provides engineering support to manufacturing, focusing on process equipment improvements, technological advances, CAPEX projects, equipment maintenance, cost efficiency, safety, and environmental compliance. Demonstrates good engineering skills, effective collaboration, and teamwork with internal and external resources.

Supports safety initiatives, ensuring health and safety risks are controlled. Provides support from project conception to completion for facilities, systems, services, and equipment.

Analyzes project information, develops solutions, and collaborates in problem-solving. Offers technical support for investigations, modifications, and improvements.

Works with end users to develop system requirements, specifications, and supports factory / site acceptance testing (FAT / SAT). Assists in preparing and reviewing engineering documents like URS, risk assessments, and safety assessments.

Collaborates with departments such as Production, QA, Validation, Maintenance, Engineering, Safety, and QC laboratories to ensure process integrity throughout their lifecycle.

Supports equipment procurement, maintains engineering records, and assists in start-up activities and GMP manufacturing.

Manages quality events and participates in root cause investigations.
