We’re developing a modern SaaS platform that aims to revolutionize car junkyard and salvage yard management . This cloud-based tool will help streamline inventory tracking, pricing, customer interactions, and operations for automotive recyclers and salvage professionals.

To bring this vision to life, we’re looking for a part-time remote UI / UX Designer who can help shape a clean, user-friendly, and efficient interface tailored to a practical, data-driven industry.

Your Role :

As our UI / UX Designer, you’ll play a critical role in designing the overall look, feel, and flow of our platform. You’ll collaborate with developers, product managers, and users to create a seamless experience for business owners and staff managing high-volume automotive operations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design clean, responsive, and intuitive interfaces for web-based applications.
  • Develop user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
  • Conduct user research and gather feedback from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented effectively and consistently.
  • Create and maintain a UI design system and component library.
  • Balance practical usability with clean aesthetics tailored to business users.

Required Skills & Experience :

  • 3+ years of experience in UI / UX design for web applications (ideally SaaS).
  • Proficiency in tools like Figma , Adobe XD , or Sketch .
  • Strong understanding of responsive design , typography , and component-based design systems .
  • Experience working with product and development teams in an agile / remote setup.
  • Ability to design for complex use cases such as data tables, dashboards, and workflows.
  • Excellent communication skills and self-motivation in a remote environment.

    • Nice to Have :

  • Experience designing tools for logistics, operations , or inventory management .
  • Familiarity with the automotive or recycling industry.
  • Understanding of basic front-end development (HTML / CSS) to better communicate with devs.
  • Experience contributing to accessibility and usability best practices.
