We are seeking a Sales Representative in Veterinary Diagnosis for the Granada region.
What can you expect?
As a Sales Representative in Veterinary Diagnosis, you will build strong relationships with veterinary clients to promote and sell IDEXX’s diagnostic products. Your role involves engaging customers through knowledgeable interactions, business discussions, and educational opportunities about IDEXX’s offerings. You will use consultative selling techniques to tailor diagnostic solutions that meet customer needs, helping veterinary practices grow their diagnostic revenue and establishing yourself as a trusted partner.
Our sales approach centers on communicating the true value of our products and services, fostering meaningful relationships by providing tailored solutions for our clients.
You will manage your territory and customer base independently to increase recurring diagnostic revenue and meet sales targets. This includes promoting internal diagnostic tests, instrument consumables, reference lab services, and advanced tests. Collaboration with other IDEXX sales professionals for co-selling capital equipment and technology is also part of your role.
Educating and training veterinary staff about our products, services, and marketing initiatives is crucial. Staying informed about IDEXX’s latest developments ensures you can effectively support your clients.
You will communicate customer needs and competitive issues to the marketing team and your manager. Additionally, you will assist laboratory operations to ensure satisfactory handling of client inquiries.
Presenting IDEXX’s values professionally, understanding the veterinary industry, and participating in trade shows and regional events are also key aspects of your role.
What do you need to succeed?
You hold a relevant license or equivalent experience.
You have several years of proven experience managing a sales territory, ideally in veterinary, animal health, medical devices, dental devices, or capital goods sectors.
You are capable of working collaboratively within a sales team.
You can meet the demands of field sales, including travel (company car provided), occasional weekend work, and trips.
You have excellent written and spoken skills in Spanish and preferably in English.
