About the Role

Doyle Blackfriars is hiring its first Business Development & Sales team member to help build our sales and partnership functions from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to join an early-stage startup as part of the founding team, influencing growth, partnerships, and sales strategies.

This is a commission-only role for the first 6 months with uncapped earnings. Responsibilities include building sales pipelines for three business units, managing outreach, and closing deals. You will also define the Sales & BD playbook alongside the founder. Applicants must be based in Barcelona with the right to work; relocation and visa sponsorship are not available.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and manage outbound B2B outreach strategies
  • Identify and pursue leads across startups, universities, and ecosystem partners
  • Book and attend introductory calls with prospective clients
  • Support proposal development and help close deals
  • Build and maintain a simple CRM (Google Sheets-based)
  • Represent DB at startup events and pitch nights
  • Help shape internal sales processes and systems from scratch

What We're Looking For

  • Based in Barcelona (required)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and proactive attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Confidence in outreach and early sales conversations
  • Willingness to grow with the company and help define BD at DB
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving, lean environment
  • Bonus : Experience in startup or B2B sales, or strong interest in entrepreneurship
