Freight Transport Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a Transportation Logistics Manager to oversee local and cross-border trucking operations. This role involves coordinating with service providers, monitoring shipments, and ensuring that transportation processes meet customer requirements, timelines, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage Trucking Operations : Oversee both local and cross-border trucking operations, ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
• Communication with Service Providers : Act as the primary point of contact for local trucking service providers, coordinating schedules, resolving issues, and maintaining strong working relationships to ensure efficient operations.
• Monitor Shipments : Track and monitor shipments throughout the transportation process, ensuring that all cargo is delivered on time and within budget. Address any delays or issues as they arise.
• Coordinate Cross-Border Logistics : Ensure compliance with all necessary customs regulations, documentation, and import / export requirements for cross-border shipments.
• Operational Efficiency : Continuously evaluate and optimize transportation processes to reduce costs, improve delivery times, and enhance overall efficiency.
• Issue Resolution : Troubleshoot and resolve any transportation-related issues, including shipment delays, route changes, or disruptions, in collaboration with service providers and internal teams.
• Reporting and Documentation : Maintain detailed records of transportation activities, including shipment status, service provider performance, and cost tracking. Provide regular updates and reports to management.
