HW Researcher / Designer for Advanced Battery Technologies

CIDETEC is a leading research centre in the field of sustainable energy solutions. Our Storage Systems unit designs, develops and tests cutting-edge battery technologies for various applications.

We are seeking an experienced HW Researcher / Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for SW development in the storage systems area, including BMS market research, schematic and PCB design, validation and analysis of results, and integration of design into final applications.

The ideal candidate must have a solid background in electronics engineering, with experience in Altium and PCB design. Additionally, they should have knowledge of communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, CAN, and Ethernet. Experience with Matlab and other applications enabling validation oversight is also highly desirable.

As a member of our team, you will work on training and company transfer projects, contributing to the development of new algorithms for BMS control SW. You will also be involved in generating and implementing new ideas, drawing up technical documentation, and seeking funding opportunities.
