Financial Markets Specialist

Our organization is currently seeking a highly skilled Banking Business Consultant to join our Corporate & Investment Banking practice in Madrid. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing expert financial services to large corporates and institutions.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of fixed income and derivative markets, with a strong understanding of derivatives valuation (swaps, options, etc.). They should also be well-versed in regulatory frameworks such as IFRS 9, 13, and 16.

The main responsibilities of this role include :

• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Hedge accounting for derivatives and accounting treatment for financial assets and liabilities.
• Working on cash-flow and settlement prices validation throughout each stage of product implementation.
• Participation in risk management and validation projects.
• Analysis and testing of IT products related to financial products booking and management.
