To support our growth in Europe, we are recruiting a Maintenance Manager for our site near Murcia. This is a new role within our Maintenance team, offering an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact during a period of growth and innovation.

Role Overview

The Murcia site, acquired in 2022, requires a proactive maintenance strategy focusing on planning, improvements, and upgrades, including supporting capex decisions. As Maintenance Manager, you will oversee facilities engineering and maintenance functions, manage automated warehouse equipment, refrigeration systems, material handling equipment, and facilities maintenance activities. Your role includes ensuring stakeholder expectations are met and contributing to our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage preventative and corrective maintenance performance, emphasizing safety compliance and legal standards.
• Conduct and document mandatory technical inspections.
• Align site maintenance strategies with the Lineage Europe Maintenance and Engineering strategy, in collaboration with the Regional Engineering Manager.
• Coordinate with site management for timely execution of maintenance activities.
• Administer company policies and manage SOPs.
• Establish and monitor performance metrics.
• Lead sustainability initiatives to reduce CO2 impact.
• Analyze activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to drive process improvements.
• Manage site CapEx and OpEx projects under guidance.

Candidate Profile

We seek a people-oriented leader with a proven track record in distribution and warehouse maintenance management, especially with refrigeration systems at an industrial level. Candidates should have experience across refrigeration, MHE, building maintenance, automation, IT systems, and supply chain optimization, with relevant certifications.

You should possess strategic leadership skills, excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities, and be fluent in English (B2+) and Spanish (C1).
