Power BI Platform Engineer - Spain or Portugal

My client, a leading global consultancy renowned for delivering cutting-edge technology and data solutions to enterprise clients, is looking for a Power BI Platform Engineer (medior or senior level) to join their growing Data Management Services team within the Data & AI Services domain.

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of data platform engineering, enhancing and supporting business-critical analytics capabilities across complex environments including Azure, AWS, and on-premises infrastructure.

Role Overview

In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing and evolving the company-wide Power BI Gateway platform, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable analytics services. You’ll collaborate closely with Data Engineers and other stakeholders to support automation, innovation, and operational excellence across the platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and continuously improve the Power BI Gateway platform, enabling efficient analytics across cloud and hybrid environments
• Act as a key enabler for Data Engineers, offering technical guidance and ensuring smooth integration of reporting solutions
• Oversee operations and service delivery – including change / configuration management, lifecycle updates, and issue resolution
• Maintain security and compliance across the platform in alignment with organizational policies
• Drive automation and CI / CD improvements in Azure DevOps, and enhance platform monitoring and reliability
• Configure and support secure data connections via Power BI gateways
